The Mouth: Still The Market’s Best Friend

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

Multi-level marketing has its roots in the home. The typical MLM company began as an idea around a dining room table between a husband and a wife. These type of companies are still at home, with stay-at-home moms running the show or the entire family working to earn a few extra dollars by selling a product. They have succeeded because of the best MLM network marketing tool ever in existence: the mouth.

Word of mouth works as the best marketing tool in existence, especially among stay-at-home workers. Those moms who choose to stay at home with their children understand a great product when they see one, and they faithfully share their news with their network of friends and neighbors. At home workers will do the same. They understand the importance of this grass-roots method of the best MLM network marketing.

Friends and loved ones also take part in the best MLM network marketing. When a sales person has found a great product, he or she will share it with those he or she loves the most: family/ Family will often hear about the product before anyone else, and thus they can become the greatest asset in great MLM marketing strategies. They see how the product works on a regular basis if they have regular contact with that individual.

Defining the MLM Lead List

Monday, November 5th, 2007

The MLM lead list is just a list of names and contact information. The people on the list are people who have expressed an interest in either learning about the MLM opportunity or buying the products the MLM business is selling.

It is not enough to have just a list, but a person needs a good list. A good list is going to have verified, quality leads. A verified, quality lead is a person who specifically requested information on the MLM company or products and who is expecting and wanting to be contacted. These leads are the best because they hold the most potential to turning into a recruit or a sale.

The whole idea of a MLM lead list is to turn a profit. It is important to keep the list current and up-to-date. It should be refreshed often with new names.

An MLM lead list is going to be one of the main tools a person uses when running their MLM business. It can literally make or break the MLM business. That is why it is critical for a person to understand what a MLM lead list is and how to create the best quality lead list.

What the Heck is Viral Marketing?

Friday, July 6th, 2007

Viral marketing sounds like a virus and that is a bad thing, unless you think about how a virus works in your body or on your computer. Now apply that thinking to Internet Marketing, since growth is exactly what you want. Soon you have 100’s if not 1000’s of people exposed to your ebook. Simply include your affiliate links and watch the results. Like most things, viral marketing has its drawbacks. People actually rob affiliate codes and modify them to rob your commission from you. And just like a virus, there are remedies. There is cloaking Software, there are page re-directs, and it all works like forwarding.

The advantages of viral marketing far outweigh the disadvantages. Let other people spread the ebook around. Use an auto responder to deliver your ebook automatically. Offer it on your web site. You will need ebook or web site content, so unless you are a professional web copy writer, you may need some help. Ebooks and inFormation are hot commodities. It’s quite natural to share and that is the beauty of viral marketing. Read more in French at: Conseil Internet and Devenir super-afflié

Niche Marketing - How to Contact Your Audience

Friday, July 6th, 2007

Is your website targeting a niche market?

If you are expanding an existing off-line business by setting up a webpage you may find your most valuable contacts right in your store. Make some brochures or cards that announce your online presence, or ask customers if they’d like to sign up for your online newsletter. Now you can contact your customers about new products, industry news or specials with no postage costs or time consuming envelope stuffing.

Niche sites will really benefit from a newsletter. Create a website that has informative content. Incorporate the keywords (words or phrases visitors type into their search engines) into the content to improve your place in the search engines.

End the article with your name, a comment about your business and a link to your website. Submit your article to relevant websites or ask if website owners would like to use your contribution. You may find discussion groups that cater to your market. Involve yourself in their conversations and attach a signature with your website address if the policies permit. Retirees? Home owners? Pet lovers? If you are selling art supplies you may find hobby sites will cater to your audience. If you sell inFormation for do-it-yourself projects you should show up in home decorating as well as financial sites (’Save Money on Home Building Projects!’ for example). What I Learned About Internet Marketing

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

I’ve been involved in internet marketing for almost two years now. I’ve had a very steep learning curve, but it’s been worth it. What follows are some of the most important things I learned since I started with internet marketing.

1) You Don’t Need To Buy Everything You Want

The problem with good internet marketers is that they make you want to buy their stuff. What I learned is that most of the time the things I bought sat on my hard drive and collected dust. Of course this goes with the territory of learning anything new. Sometimes you have to spend a little money, but most of the time you’re better off keeping you credit card in your wallet.

2) The Most Important Thing You Can Build is a Mailing List

This gets to the root of all internet marketing. The only thing you need is a product and traffic to your website. But in reality, you don’t even need a product because you can sell other people’s products. So all your really need to be successful is traffic -people visiting your website.

Why I Like Start Work At Home Business On Squidoo

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

If you were going to start work at home business, there would be three things to look for. At least, the threee things I always look for. These are really simple and don;t take much time to investigate.

1. How much does it cost and does it seem possible that I could make enough money doing the business to maek it pay for itself.

2. Is there a refund policy, and if so, what is it. Generally, I look for time lengths around 30 - 90 days, any shorter than that, and I am concerned that I won’t have enough time to really try out the program.  Any longer than that and I might forget to refund if I don’t like the program.

3. Do I need a big bunch of auxiliary stuff (at an increased cost) in order to make the original program work?

Articles Boost Your Income

Monday, June 4th, 2007

You’re selling snowboots, and you’re doing reasonably well. Suddenly you notice that the hits to your website are dropping off, and your sales are following. It’s winter; they should be moving really well! What’s happening?

Chances are good that a competitor is siphoning off your customer pool. If your website isn’t search-engine optimized or if your content is stale, your customers may be going somewhere else. Here’s what happens: your website is established, providing a nice catalog selection of snowboots and accessories. Paul’s Snowboots springs up out of nowhere, and determines that the way to get a good customer base is to make his website better than yours.

So Paul studies you. He figures out what keywords pull up your site, and he uses those on his site. He figures out who’s linking to you, and he requests reciprocal links from these vendors. And he discovers that you’re not offering anything to your customers but a nice place to buy snowboots at a fair price.

Paul starts writing articles, one every month on different aspects of snowboots. He posts articles on his website. He submits them to article exchange databases, finding more URLs to link to his site. He creates a regular newsletter, and once he’s captured a customer’s attention with the newsletter, he can continually remind them that he’s there and waiting whenever they’re ready to buy snowboots.

There’s a finite customer pool for snowboots; inevitably, you’re going to feel the pinch.

So how do you stop it?

Writing Articles To Capture and Keep Customers

Today’s average web consumer is terribly spoiled. He or she is used to getting a little something free. If your customers have been coming to your site for months or years and gotten nothing extra except a nice thank you note and a good price, then they may be ready for a change.

And the best freebie you can give them is an informative article. That’s what Paul knows that you don’t know.

So Paul has been writing articles: how to ensure your snowboots are waterproof, why you should buy a size larger than you think, what you can do to keep them smelling fresh inside, everything he can think of. And customers have been flocking to him, reading his articles, using his advice – and buying his boots.

The only way to fight back is to provide your own great article content, and even a newsletter.

But you don’t know how to write.

Finding Articles to Keep the Customers

That’s okay, believe it or not. It’ll cost you a little extra money, not much, to buy private label rights to web-optimized content from a professional writer. You can guide the writing of the articles, or you can purchase them pre-written; whichever way you go, your main task is going to be ensuring the articles add value to your customer’s trip to your website.

You can find articles to purchase from article brokers, or you can hire writers directly to write for your website. Either way, be certain you can put your own byline on the article; this makes it your own, no matter who wrote it to begin with.

But don’t stop there. Go ahead and start a newsletter, and ask your customers to sign up for more great information. And post some of your free articles to an article exchange site; you can get people linking to your website for no more work than sharing a single article.

And if you really want to one-up Paul, hire someone to write an ebook for your site. You gain guru status, your customers who have downloaded the book have a permanent reminder that you’re there, and Paul doesn’t know what hit him.

And Another Thing

Articles are useful for income generation in another way. If you have an emailed newsletter with a decent sized audience, you can sell advertising space on it to other vendors or to the companies that provide you with your brands of snowboots. A one-line ad from Lands End, another short ad from a startup making custom socks, and an ad from a site that sells Eskimo-style parkas. If you start selling advertising on your own newsletter, you can make back enough to pay for the newsletter at minimum, and you may even start to make a profit.

Career Advice

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Your high school guidance counselor is one of many people you may turn to in your life for career advice. They will probably be one of the first, in a list of many, that will help guide you down the right path. Some people know what they want, while others need help. Many people don’t know what they want even after they have left high school, so they have to turn to someone else for career advice. There are many great resources out there to help you figure out what you might be good at, or what you might like to do.

Ever Wondered About Advertising Billboards?

Friday, May 18th, 2007

This is a great article about advertising billboards, and one mans experience of them. It’s a great read, here is a sample:
When I lived in the city I usually had to take a bus into work every day. It was never a good idea for me to drive, as the parking where I worked was sky high. I got used to the bus, but when my brother came to stay with me for a while, he offered to pick me up for work each day. I loved it, and it was much better than riding the bus. He was always caught in traffic on a certain street each day though, and he came to loathe the advertising billboards he saw as he sat there. It became something that he would talk about each day as his irritation grew.

Why Not Email Marketing?

Monday, April 30th, 2007

Receiving this quantity of spam each day can be frustrating and can anger some Internet users. These Internet users are not likely to be receptive to email marketing. The fear that these potential customers will view email marketing and stray to competitors keeps many Internet marketers from taking advantage of this type of marketing strategy…..

If you are currently participating in other types of Internet marketing but not email marketing you should seriously consider why you are avoiding this type of advertising. This is important because email marketing can be a very important part of an Internet marketing campaign.

How effective is your networking strategy?

Sunday, April 29th, 2007

You do have one don’t you?

It’s likely you have a marketing and business development plan or strategy in place which will include titles such as corporate events and entertainment,  work, direct mail, cold calling, advertising, PR, sponsorship, seminars, pens with the company’s name embossed plus further headings which don’t spring readily to mind.

Do the words ‘networking activities’ feature? You will quite rightly argue that corporate events and entertainment and seminars could be included in this heading. That’s fine but do you know what return you get from these costly investments? Not just the expense of cash but the valuable time expended in terms of lost chargeable hours.

When we attend events we do so in one of two capacities, either as host or guest.

Just for Business Opportunity Seekers

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

In the past year I have tried to start a business out of my home. I had seen so many advertisements on the internet as well as the television about making money from home by being your own boss that I thought that this seemed like an interesting thing to look into. I did a search on general business opportunity seekers to see where I would be lead. My first search produced several thousands hits. I knew that not all of the business opportunity seekers could possibly be legitimate, but I did not know how to begin to sort through the vast numbers.

A Better Network Marketing Lead

What makes our leads better? Aside from not overselling our leads, you get a pure network marketing lead. What that means is no incentives were used to intice a prospect to fill out a form or survey. You actually get a business opportunity seeker.

Our “No Bad Lead Guarantee” backs that up. If you receive any leads that are wrong numbers, disconnects, under-age minors, or an incentivized lead, we will replace those leads beyond the 10% overage you receive with your order.
