The U.S. Postal Service began providing electronic proof of Certified Mail letter delivery in 2001. When each Certified Mail letter is delivered the letter carrier records delivery information for each letter electronically including the Signature of the person that accepts the letter.
Electronic Return Receipt (ERR) provides the mailer proof of delivery for each USPS Certified Mail letter mailed in the United States. What happens to the green card Return Receipt? The old fashioned USPS green Return Receipt card has been an icon of Certified Mail for more than 230 years. This courtesy reply card has been used to provide proof the letter was delivered. This little green postcard has been difficult for both the mailer and the U.S. Postal Service to manage. Mailers have reported the cards missing, stuck inside other pieces of mail and very timely to organize file and manage.ÂÂ
Certified Mail Envelopes include Electronic Return Receipt and ‘in-route’ letter tracking. The information is archived and stored in your account for 7 years so you can access the information and print the Electronic Return Receipt or letter tracking information 24/7 from any computer and print the reports to your local printer.

No matter how much you may owe, you will be getting notifications that you had better pay up. Everything with the income tax preparation and filing is self-explanatory. This way when you file electronically, no mistakes can be made. As long as you have your employment and salary information at-hand, you’re golden. I laugh at my mother every tax season, because she always turns to my brother for income tax preparation assistance. She asks him to figure out her taxes and file them for her. Hmm, I guess I can’t blame her. She’s about as good at math as I am, and that’s not saying much. Luckily for her, my brother does it without question. He resorts to his handy income tax preparation and filing software and he’s done in no time flat.
