Medicare Surety Bonds Need To Be Bought Now

The 2009 Medicare surety bonds program does not require existing medical equipment or item suppliers to buy their medicare bonds until October 2, 2009. Heads-up everybody! The government list of chosen bond suppliers that we must use allows the individual bond sellers to refuse to sell bonds to you for bad credit ratings, or past experiences with the Medicare system that can be up to ten-years old. Since there is no way to tell if you will be able to find a bond easily, the recommendation is that all medical equipment suppliers buy their bonds instantly to prevent problems that can happen by shopping at the last minute. The system estimates that bonds will run about 1,500 dollars per location, but some are reporting that they are getting their bonds for about 500.00. It is wise to shop now so that problems do not happen later.
