President Obama is all hot to trot on ramming this new health care plan through, but it looks like it will have serious effects on successful small businesses.

Here’s an excerpt from the blog on the US Health Care Proposal…

First, who’s going to pay for the estimated 1.5 trillion dollars over the next 10 years?

Businesses with less than 25 employees will be mandated to pay for their workers’ health care or pay $750 per full time and $375 per part time employee to the government.

The government also is proposing a “surcharge” on successful business people. The House is going to place a 1% surcharge on those individuals making over $280K per year up to 5.4% on those making over $800K per year.

This new health care proposal is still up in the air. If you own a small business it may be worthwhile to contact your Senator or Representative and make your voice heard.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) governs all realtors in the state by issuing licenses. Before the TREC will issue you with a license to sell real estate, you must complete a series of coursed from an accredited course provider. The total classroom hours required to obtain your license is 210, broken up in a series of courses: Principles of Real Estate, Law of Agency, Law of Contracts plus 90 additional hours in core or related courses.

Once you have completed the requisite courses, you must request that the TREC review your photocopied transcripts before you can apply for your real estate license in Texas. You may be subject to a background and/or credit check before being able to seek sponsorship from a licensed broker.
