How a church made it rich
January 22nd, 2008There is a place in Missouri called the precious moments wedding chapel that was having a hard time keeping it’s doors open. Although a wonderful place for people to get married they couldn’t keep enough people coming through to door to keep the lights on. Through some creative financing they obtained several thousands of dollars. Rather than spend the money on improvements they decided that they needed to let more people know that they were available. They spent there money on some really creative advertising. They started with some TV ads but that only served the local area. They wanted more coverage than that, they wanted national exposure. Being in the area of Branson they decided to advertise on some of the hand outs that show all the shows and attractions there. Not many people who come for a vacation are going to get married but quit a few of those flyers made it home to locations all over the US. As those people showed the attractions to their children the children saw the ad and slow but sure they stated to come to the chapel for their weddings. The result is that they are now booked for two weddings a day at times and there is a waiting list of a year to be married there.
