The Amazing Option Stock Picks Repair Strategy

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

In today’s markets, everyone from amateurs to professionals alike experience losses in their option stock picks. Since the bubble burst, investors have come to understand that managing losses is just as important as attaining profits.

We have all found ourselves in situations where we have purchased option stock picks that proceeded to trade down leaving us with a loss or a losing position that we had to fix.

During the recent bull market, a common solution was to buy more of the option stock picks at their lower price and wait for them to go up. This strategy of buying more option stock picks is called “doubling down.” This is a risky strategy and not what we recommend, but let’s review it anyway.

Doubling down allows investors to lower their dollar cost per share so that the option stock picks only has to gain back a portion of the loss to reach break even.

Credit Card Rates

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

What kind of credit card rates are you finding now days? I have to say that I usually get a few pitches in the mail on a daily basis. If it’s not Visa, It’s MasterCard, and if it’s not American Express, it’s Discover card. I’m sure you can relate on that. When it comes to credit card companies, one thing they are very adamant about is pitching. Sometimes I just want to send them a memo regarding all the paper they’re wasting. Because come on, how many of these are you tearing up, or sticking through the shredder? It’s not like we can literally get every credit card they encourage us to apply for. Then of course there’s the whole deal with the credit card rates

Website Employee To Entrepreneur Mindset

Monday, April 16th, 2007

The 2-3 Month Reality Check…

Owning and building a business, whether it’s online or offline, takes a considerable amount of work in the first few months. It also requires that you change your mindset. Instead of seeing yourself as an “employee,” you now need to view yourself as an “entrepreneur.”

With this mindset, you understand that you must invest time and energy upfront to build a thriving business. Every serious entrepreneurial effort starts that way, SiteSell itself included.

If any entrepreneur in any business measured the dollars per hour s/he was making in the first year, the economy would simply grind to a halt. There would be no more entrepreneurs.

So what’s the take-home lesson?…

Invest time at less than minimum wage to build a business that ultimately pays substantial amounts on a per hour basis. Understand this well and you will easily eliminate any feelings of discouragement that might surface during those early business-building months.

Patience. Persistence. Progress.

If you’d like to learn more about these website building ideas you really should read more about Ken Evoy and Site Build It.

Raise Your Credit Score By Paying Your Bills On Time

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

One of the best ways to improve your credit score is simply to pay your bills on time.  This is absurdly simple but it works very well, because nothing shows lenders that you take debts seriously as much as a history of paying promptly.  Every lender wants to be paid in full and on time.

One of the ways to raise your credit score is simply by paying your bills on time. The rationale behind this is that if you are paying all your bills on time, the odds are good that you will also make the payments for any new credit that you apply for on time as well. This is certainly something every lender wants to see. Experts think that up to 35% of your credit score is based on your paying of bills on time, so this simple step is one of the easiest ways to raise your credit score.

They have more predictable characteristics — owing to their fixed maturity (principal repayment date) and coupon (interest rate). But those predictions are fairly technical and sometimes even difficult to follow for the beginner.

Bonds also traditionally have higher investment capital requirements. They’re usually issued in $1000 increments, with a $5000 minimum investment requirement commonplace.

But, part of the fun of investing is overthrowing tradition. Meet Bond funds……read more at Have More Fun Investing In Bonds

Start a travel business

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

Starting a travel business seemed like an easy thing for me to do. After all, I have traveled all over the world and have worked for a travel organization for years. It should have been a sure bet, except for one thing. When I decided to start a travel business, I did not look into the industry. It is already saturated. There are thousands upon thousands of travel agencies, and most of them have much more capital than I have. This is why all of my early attempts to start a travel business failed. Not only did I lose money and time, but I also started to lose the will to start my own business. see other articles on vacations and traveling

Marketing Loser did you have enough?

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

Everybody acts like marketing is a system that can be replicated with the push of a button. The real truth is that the difference between the winners and losers is the human factor. Internet marketers do not address the human factor for obvious reasons, because you cannot replicate it. It is personal. I can read every book or listen to every tape set on copy writing, web site design, copy it to the letter, but it still isn’t going to make me a million dollars. If you don’t have the skills or time to become business man/woman  then the next option is to hire the very best one. They are  very expensive and practically out of reach. Frankly, the Internet marketing community is selling air, nobody is selling results. More on Marketing Loser
