Higher Education – The Second Chance
Did your parents constantly go on at you about college? About how important getting a degree in whatever subject was? You didn’t listen right? All parents have dreams and goals set in their minds for us – a doctor, a lawyer, parents idea of success. But, be honest how many of us actually want to follow these paths – the truth, probably not many, we all have our own aspirations and dreams to follow. It can be so annoying when parents keep going over old ground time and time again.
Personally I blame Willie Nelson for this! We have to choose our own paths in life. Just as long as they don’t include flipping burgers for all eternity. No one wants to deal with that gig day-in and day-out. I think the grease fumes can really wreak havoc on our brains, or is it the nagging customers? Anyway, the point is that you don’t have to follow that traditional path and venture off to college in search of an ideal degree. These days you can acquire math, science, and accounting degrees online. Yep, you heard me right. I’m talking about from your sofa. You’ve got to love the World-Wide-Web.
